Troubleshooting Cubicle Objects

In working with Visio (2007) today, my cubicle objects have taken on some
additional characteristics. Now the panel sections, while showing a 2"
thickness in the Shape Data are displayed as large rectangles protruding
behind the cubicle.

When I drag a panel onto the screen it's fine in drag mode, but changes to
an uneditable rectangle upon release.

Any ideas other than a reinstall? I've searched for cubicles and get the
same results with those objects.

Thanks,

Is it just the width that changes, or has everything become bloated? 1st
thing that occurs to me is the page scale somehow was changed. That would
affect all objects. The 2nd, is the setting for the wall thickness was
changed. Right click a wall, and see if the setting is causing the fatness.
If that's the case, and it's just the walls, then perhaps your document
master has been affected. Go to menu bar > Shapes Icon > scroll to the
bottom and select show Document stencil. Double click the shape that's
giving you a problem to open it for editting. Right click the shape to get
to the width setting, and set it the desired value. Close the shape. Say OK
to update if you want all of your placements to get resized. That should do
it.

New placements should behave.

Thanks,

It's just the depth of the panel objects that changed. I checked on the
scale settings, but everything was fine, and the object settings showed the
panel walls to be 2" in depth, but they were still blown out of proportion
and couldn't be resized, even when isolated.

Out of frustration I started a new drawing and the cubicle objects drew
fine, so I copied the original to the new one and haven't had any problems
since.

I'll chalk it up to the MS gremlins. ;)

Thanks again
