Troubleshooting Display Data with Custom Shapes

(Visio 2007 SP2, 2010 Beta)

I imported a picture to use as a shape, and everything appears to work fine
- except I can't get the Shape Data to display as a Data Graphic. When I do
select to Display Data Graphic, nothing happens to the shape. OOB shapes in
the same drawing work fine.

Anyone have ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
