Is it possible to define trusted location in case a computer has
Access 2007 runtime only?

All trusted locations are stored in the registry
under:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Security\Trusted
Locations\LocationN
(where N is an integer)

To see what the entries should look like, just add a trusted location
through the Trust Center, then go to the registry to look at the key
and see what it did. Note: you cannot trust a specific file, but only
at the folder level, so you'll want to make sure that you're
installing your app to a folder that contains only your application
and not other stuff. Of course, you can use the ADE to set this
registry key as a part of install as well.

Great help but did not quite do it all. First I am new to registry entries so
please excuse any really dumb notes.

1) I used the "Package Solution" to create the install and when I selected
the "Root" as "All Users" the entries went into the registy under "Local
Machine" and did not work. Entries under "Current User worked well"

2) as mentioned below

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Security\Trusted
Locations\LocationN
(where N is an integer)

but I do not know in advance how many entries there are already so not sure
what value of n to use...this must just be my ignorance.

3) I did not know how to enter a value for "AllowSubfolders" as all entries
created by the "Package Solution" are REG_SZ and not REG_DWORD. Not sure how
to get this changed.

What I did in the end was just use "current User", "Location0" and left out
"AllowSubfolders". It worked but not pretty!

I hope this helped.
