Does anyone know of a way to create a workbook with only say...400 rows
instead of 65536??? I am trying to jerry rig my spreadsheet such that I NEED
the last row (65536) but none of the others above it. I have been trying to
hide the others between 400 and 65536 but if I make formatting alterations
after hiding, the program crashes. It tries to make all of the changes to
the hidden rows. I am not even sure if there is a way to create a workbook
with a number other than the standard 65536 rows.
Thanks
Chris

FYI-I was able to hide rows 37 through 65536 so my workbook only shows 36
rows. I was able to change the format without it crashing.

Christopher.

This is vague. Do you actually need row 65536? Or do you just need 400
rows, such as 1 - 400? There are ways to do these things. You can even
have only rows 65136 - 65536 if you really want. Post back.
