So I go to: E-Mail,File,New,Mail Message,
Untitled Msg.,Click to Show Names From,Contacts (which
just happens to be an Empty Folder). I have several
folders which are Empty) Why you might ask; I used to use
Windows 98 and just learning how to run XP. I created
these folders in error. I'm banging my head on the wall
about now. PORKY

What version of Outlook are you using? If Outlook Express, try an Outlook
Express news group or http://www.tomsterdam.com

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, porky asked:

Right click the Contacts folder, choose Properties then Outlook Address
Book. Is the box to enable as email address book is unchecked? if so, it
shouldn't show as an address book. To delete the folders, select them and
hit Del.
