Based on the percentage in table below, I want to calculate Total Cos
based on a specific percentage.
Cost of works [Class 1 (%)] [Class 2 (%)]
On the first $50,000 [11] [7]
on the next $75,000 [9] [6.25]
on the next $125,000 [7.5] [5.75]
on the next $250,000 [6.5] [5.25]
on the remainder $500,000 [5] [4.25]
Now the fees given is = $1883800. Total Cost =?
The steps are like these:
On the first $50,000 x (11-7)% = $1,000.00
On the next $75,000 x (9-6.25)% = $2,062.50
On the next $125,000 x (7.5-5.75)% = $5,937.50
On the next $250,000 x (6.5-5.25)% = $3,125.00
On the remainder $1,383,800 x (5-4.25)% = $20,757.00
*Answer: Total Cost= $32,882.00*
The Total Cost is calculated after a fees is entered based o
percentage of Class 2 minus Class1.
I need the steps of calculation (shaded in blue in my worksheet) to b
displayed in the worksheet too.
How can i do that?
