Trying for Outlook answers again . . .

I had posted on this group and another, but not gotten any response and I'm
thinking that may be because I attached a screenshot of the error box I was
receiving. Possibly the attachment was making people wary?

Every time I run Outlook for the FIRST time of the day I receive this error
message: RUNTIME ERROR! Program: G:\MSOffice\Office10\OUTLOOK.EXE -
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

This does occur once in a great while if I log off my username and then log back
on, but is a constant every morning when first starting Outlook. When you click
'OK' at the bottom of the error box, Outlook closes down and must be restarted.

I'm running XP Home and Office XP.

Thanks for any help as this is getting very frustrating!

I doubt you are getting a runtime error in Outlook. It is probably another application or com add-in running in the same thread. Do you have any Outlook affiliated programs or add-ins like Stamps.com or something? This may be the source of your problem.

I will try the detect and repair, see what happens.

There are a couple of 'add-ins' I run with Outlook, is there a way to get them
to work together (if this is the problem) or will I have to uninstall the
offending program?

I would remove the COM... and AddIns as a test. If the issue stops there is no reason to allow them to continue.
