trying to access a page and getting server error

Hi,
I cannot seem to access the calendar page of my website anymore. It gives
me a "Server error - the server extensions were unable to access the
file'httpd.conf' Please check the file permissions. Contact your Internet
server provider or service administrator for info."
Does this mean that my web hosting company has disconnected from my website
or what?
Tha nks so much for the help, this has put me kind of out of business for
months.
