trying to convert Publisher doc to PDF

I am trying to convert an MS Publisher document to PDF. It seems to work OK, but line thicknesses, as in a graph, are all over the place. I think part of the problem could be the postscript printer. Is there one that is the best to use for this conversion? I'm running Windows XP on a Dell Dimension and this is Publisher 2002 and Adobe 5.05. Any assistance with settings to use to get the conversion to work properly would be appreciated.

Download and use the Adobe Generic Postscript printer driver from the Adobe
website.

Make sure your Distiller settings are correct.

Personally I have never hand any issue of the nature you describe.
Actually, never really had any issues - full stop.
