We're running Office XP, Standard for Teachers and Students...I need to
create a brochure, but when I tried to download it off the Microsoft site, it
tells me that Office was not found on the pc...Any clues would be most
helpful..

Please give us the *exact* text of the error message. I'm betting it says
something like "Publisher isn't found on your PC," not Office....

Yes! You're right! Here is the message I get..."Templates can be
automatically downloaded only if the required program and version are
installed on your computer. This template requires Publisher 2002 or later,
which was not found on your computer."

Especially since Publisher is not and never has been a part of Office S&T.

Not the brightest are we...? You're attempting to download a *PUBLISHER*
template knowing full well you don't have Publisher...

Moron of the Month Award candidate for sure...

In that case, you need to select a different template -- preferably one for
an application you have installed. There are probably brochure templates for
Word.
