trying to find earlier post

weird how there is no portal for me to see posts I have previously made. Help
recommends that I click on a post made by a user to find other posts by that
user. How's that for a workaround.

It's hard to say without knowing how you are accessing these groups.
Literally over 100 of other websites leech of these newsgroups hosted by
Microsoft. Best access to it is via a newsreader such as Windows Live Mail.

There certainly is a search function in the web interface to these
newsgroups, but you'd be much better off accessing them using a real
newsreader program.

Posts? Not an Outlook issue. Outlook doesn't do NNTP (Network News
Transfer Protocol) for newsgroups. Ask in a newsgroup that discusses
whatever newsreader you are actually using.
