Trying to find out which version of Office support UTF-8 and/or UT

Hi
My company is expanding in several countries, and it has become evident that
we need to change to either an UTF-8 or an UTF-16 encoding in most parts of
our service. We export many reports to the various Office products, and I'm
trying to get an overview of which encoding they support, and what coming
version will support, and it's been difficult to get the answers I seek. The
most important are of course 2003 and 2007.

So basically:
UTF-8 UTF-16
Office 97 yes/no? yes/no?
Office 2000 yes/no? yes/no?
Office XP yes/no? yes/no?
Office 2003 yes/no? yes/no?
Office 2007 yes/no? yes/no?

Any help is much appretiated.
