Trying to highlight

Hi, I went on my desktop to change the size and color of my icons in
properties, since then I cannot highlight and delete in the file name box,
does anyone know how I can fix this? Thank you.

Have you restarted the PC since the editing took place? You could try
Windows System Restore in Help and Support, to put it back to before
this started.

Yes, I have, this happened a couple of months ago, and I have been unable to
figure out what the heck I did. Thank you.

No, I'm not sure when it happened, so I don't know what date to pick. Also,
will this screw up things I don't want changed? thanks

it makes a new restore point and then resets system registry entries and
system files to the date of the restore you pick. If the result is
unsatisfactory, elect to use the restore point it just made.

Thanks for trying to help but I actually made the changes before January and
it won't let me go back to 2008, I guess I'll have to live with it. Thank
you.

Might I suggest you ask about this in the Windows XP group. Then the
folks there may have a suggestion as to what you have changed.
