Trying to install FrontPage on new computer

I'm receiving a 1608 error "unable to locate qualifying
product" after installing and trying to run FrontPage for
the first time on my new computer (I have XP operating
system). Went to the microsoft website for on-line help,
but I need my Product ID in order to even ask a
question. The problem is I need to go into the
application to get the number (around and around we go)
Can you sense my frustration yet?

In addition, the on-line troubleshooting guide said I
need to put in my FrontPage 2000 CD first when trying to
upgrade to 2000. The problem is, I am not upgrading from
2000. I purchased 2002 only. A $165 program and I can't
run it.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP. THANKS.

If you bought the Upgrade version of FP2002 (check the packaging or CD) it requires a prior version of FP installed
