Trying to install--nothing happens

I recently purchased a new computer--Dell Inspiron 6000 w/ Intel Celeron M
Processor 360 and Windows XP Media Center. Trying to install FP 2003 (the
full one not the upgrade) on this new computer (would be the 2nd installation
for the program--1st was my old computer no longer in use).

When I put the disk in the drive and NOTHING HAPPENS. I can hearit
spinning, but nothing opens up. If I click My Computer>D:\ the folder opens
and it's blank. Any ideas?

From everything I've read, Media Center doesn't support FrontPage or any
other Office applications.

I have Windows XP Media Center and I installed Office 2000 Premium which
includes FrontPage2000
and works just fine for me.

Ok, guess I didn't read it right.

Oh No! What other Office applications?! (Office 2003 came preinstalled.)
I'm a volunteer webmaster. What do you suggest I do now? Can I or should I
get another version of XP?

I guess you need to read it again.

JJ:
Do you have two CD/DVD drive on this new PC? Try putting the FP CD in the
other drive and see what happens.

I only have one drive--a CD-ROM/DVD Burner.

I also tried Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs. It found the Setup Program

I was wrong.
My apologies, I don't know where I read that.

If you can't see any files on the CD (D:) you have a hardware or driver problem

The OP has stated he has a CDRom/DVD Burner (combo).

Anyway.....FP doesn't come on DVD disk.
