Trying to install Office 97 on Windows XP

Help! Have new machine with Windows XP. When I put the
Office 97 CD in the drive I get absolutely nothing. I
recently had to reinstall the program on my old computer
so I know it isn't defective. I'm running it on Windows
98 on my old computer. I can play music CDs and I can
install How to Be A Millionaire on the new computer. How
on earth do I install Office 97? I've tried Add/Remove
Program in Control Panel. Somebody said that I might have
AutoStart for CDs turned off. Where do I find that to
check? I'm still using old computer until I can get the
new one up and running --- which means the new one isn't
connected to the Internet yet. Could that be a problem?

Have you tried using Windows Explorer to navigate to the root directory of
the CD? Look for a file named setup.exe and double-click to run it.
