Hi,

Trying to get false email address mainly for NGs. I've been trying to
send this problem to the Entourage newsgroup via News Server/False
Email address with no success. I can send an attachment of an
instruction sheet "Create a Fake NoSpam Account" if that's possible on
NGs. I don't remember where I got it.

Now....

This starts whit when I was trying to get an email off to you:

For this email, in the drop down 'News' menu, I have chosen Microsoft
News Server to send this post to the Entourage NG.

The only other item in the 'News" is my name for the false address I
created. I've had no luck sending from that. I've tried sending a
test using that false email address which I created following some
directions, but I've only gotten error messages.

1. "Connecting securely to msnews.microsoft.com".
When I try to send, the barber bar at the lower right of the screen
twirls endlessly, and to the left of it are the words "Connecting
securely to msnews.microsoft.com".

2. Error Description
After a while an an "Error Description" window appears saying
"Error:
"An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down,
overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic. " [I think this is
baloney]

"Explanation
"Could not retrieve mail.
"Account name "Microsoft News Server
"Error:-3259"

This same Error window is popping up here periodically as I'm typing
this email. The other window that keeps popping up here is:

"Enter account ID and Password for the SMTP server "smtp.att.yahoo.com
Account ID .................................
Password.....................................
Save password

I've tried all options I can think of to make this work but I can't
seem to get it right. I hope this email gets through to the Entourage
NG.

Thanks Rafael

Addendum
This:

"Enter account ID and Password for the SMTP server
"smtp.att.yahoo.com
Account ID .................................
Password.....................................
Save password'

is a second request window not part of the 2. Error Description
above.
