I am using Entourage to manage my IMAP account. Up till a week ago,
everything was working fine.
I went home last week, and since I was on dial-up, I had decided to
put Entourage on "work offline" mode to write some e-mails and send
later. I put entourage back on online mode after connecting and sent
my e-mails, but after that, it always seems to give me a strange sync
message all the time, even though I'm no longer in "work offline"
mode.
What happens is a window pops up and says "(name of
account):synchronizing offline actions" even though there aren't any
and I'm not offline. I also notice that Entourage crashes a lot more
often than it used to (it crashed 5 times in the past 1/2 hour).
Another thing it does now is that when I go to delete an e-mail from
my IMAP account, it actually deletes it from the server. Normally it
just crosses out the e-mail and marks it for deletion until I specify
to purge it from the server.
Does anyone have any ideas? The only thing I can think of is that my
Entourage thinks I'm offline and constantly needs to sync with the
server.
