Trying to send a fax

I am trying to set up a macro to send a fax from our server. I know that the
faxing service is turned on. I am trying to fax a copy of a report. I went to
the report's page setup, set it to use a specific printer and selected the
Fax entry from the printer list. I created a macro and selected the
SendObject. I selected object type of report, selected the report in
ObjectName, selected Output Format of RTF, and in the To field I put
[Fax: +1 (248) nnn-nnnn], with the fax number filled in. but when I try to
execute the macro it seems to think I'm sending an email and prompts me for
all kinds of information on the server, etc. Do you see anything wrong with
the way I have this set up? Even though I'm sending a fax, does it still
require me to enter all of this server-related info, email ID, etc? Any help
is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but that's the exact link where I got all of my info
from. I'm doing it exactly the way they describe it from what I can tell,
can't figure out if there's something I'm missing.

The email/fax system must be setup first or you will trigger wizards to do
it. Why, FCC requires specific info in all faxes transmited and this is
solved in software by making sure you run the wizard first. Set up your
email and fax manually and send one of each. Then see if it works. If you
have already done this and it still is a problem give a little more step by
step what you are doing and provide the settings you are using int he macro.
