Trying to Update Frontpage 98 with FrontPage 2000

I bought these some time ago. I'm now trying to load them on a more recent
computer. I get a message that 2000 can't find a qualified program to
update. It worked before. Any suggestions?

Did you put the FP 98 CD in the drive when it gave you that prompt and then point it to
the CD

I'm sorry, I just don't understand. I put the FP98 in my CD drive, then went
to "Start" and then "Run" using the drive designation (E) and "SETUP.EXE".
It appeared to load OK and I now have the program on my C drive under
"EXPFP98". I'm running

You installed FP 98 and then tried to upgrade to 2000, and 2000 said it couldn't find a
qualifying product.
Is that correct?

I got it figured out and I'm embarrassed. What I have is "exploring"
Frontpage 98. A tutorial. I've started looking for the program itself, but
so far no luck. Thanks for your help.

When you do find the FP98 CD, do not install it. Install FP2000, and as
Steve said, when it looks for a qualifying program, insert the FP98 CD.
