Turn off animation tags

Anybody know how to turn off animation tags? I need to adjust a motion
path arrow, but it's underneath those animation tags and I can't get to
it.

The animation tags are always turned on for all animations as long as the
animation task pane is visible. Try to zoom in on the motion path arrow, so
that you can better grab it with your mouse.
