Turn off To-Do Bar in Outlook 2007

Need way to permanently turn the To-Do Bar off in Outlook 2K7. If I go
to View>To-Do Bar>Off and then exit Outlook the ToDo Bar returns. Is
there a way to stop this from being displayed?

Go to Tools --> Options --> Other tab. Under the Outlook Panes section
there is a button for the To-do bar. Deselect all three options. This
should disable the to- do bar for you.
