Turning Off Quick Launch Language Bar

B

Benjamin Dover

Right click the task bar select tool bars and un check the language bar

See my original post -- this isn't working:

I'm running Office 2003. After a full installation a small Language Bar
began appearing in my Quick Launch bar. If I right mouse / select
Toolbars and uncheck "Language Bar" ... it simply reappears after my next
reboot.

Any way to get rid of this?

Hi Benjamin,

Depending on the version of Windows you're using
it could be under the 'Keyboard' applet in the
Control panel (switch to 'classic' or 'icon view')
or Languages if Text Services isn't listed.

======
Check the settings in the Windows Control Panel
for Text Services for the Language bar.

I do not see "Text Services" anywhere in the CP?????
