... but works when the mail is opened in its own window. I searched the forum, but couldn't see this posted before. Am I the only one having this problem?

Using: Entourage - Office 2008 - Macbook Pro - Leopard )

Thanks in advance.

You are not alone. I have a Macbook Pro as well with the same
problem.

I have a MacBook Pro and am using Mac OS 10.4.11. I'm having the same scrolling issues.

Add me, too, with MacBook Pro Office 2008, Leopard. Non-existent scrolling in preview pane or choppy, sporadic scrolling.

add me to the list. it only happens in the preview window and the email contains html. i am running 10.5 on a macbook pro. very frustrating.

This happens with any kind of scrolling - either with a scroll wheel, squirrel ball, or two-fingered scrolling. It's only in the preview pane and not when the message is in its own window. It also only happens when there is html with pictures. At least, that's all for me.

Powerbook, running 10.4.11.

Make sure to give bug feedback to M$oft.

Add another one to the list, except with different hardware. I'm on a MacBook Air.

MacBook Pro OS X 10.5.2

Same issue (submitted tech support ticket) but mine seems to occur in Preview Pane AND an open mail window - not just preview pane.

Add me to this list except that I can scroll in an open mail window.
OS X 10.5.2
Office 2008

I have the same problem, using Entourage 2008!!!! Does anybody got any answer from MSFT?

Interesting. Is it just the MacBook Pro? Works fine in for me in
Preview on Powerbook G4
Entourage 2008 (12.0.1)
OS X 10.5.3

Also works on a MacBook Pro with Entourage 2004. Haven't tried 2008 on
that machine yet.

Add one more to the non-scrolling preview window, but okay in it's own window Entourage 2008 on a Mac Book Pro with OS X.4.11 user... list... :worried:

I have same config (MBP, Office 2008, Leopard) and it works fine, although
scroll mouse often plays up.

The tracpad on Macbook Pros does not work properly when booting into Vista.
This is a universal problem and from the looks of the Apple forum, has been
around since the release of the Leopard operating system.
Not that I blame Apple, but they don't seem to care too much about their
hardware working properly in windows.

Problems reported are:
1, no trackpad click (touch to click), you have to use the button
2, erretic vertical scrolling in many applications
3, no horizontal scrolling

I recommend that you either buy an external bluetooth mouse or buy a Dell XPS.

cheers

I hear the strangest sound when I reach more than 120km/hr. Do you think it
is something in the dash or the engine?
