i already installed office2003 as u can see but attempting a
reinstall/repair/remove all gives me the same outcome.
even tried using the listool and gave me an error with no number as soon as
i ran it.
had success with using the windows installer cleanup but then when i try to
install office i get an error too and i end up with no office2003 entry in my
add/remove box at all. the only thing that saved me a couple of times was
system restore points.
worth noting is that i have 2 folders MSOcache on my D: drive due to system
restoring thing ... one is 11.2MB (msocache) and the other is 2.16MB
(msocache2)
i came along this :
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;830168
and it talks about controlling where ur msocache file will be created but i
dont know what exactly is the right thing to do.
my D: drive 15Gigs.
i look forward to ur reply. thnx ... one and all
