two pages per sheet

Roy

I am writing a book and using the 'two page per sheet' in
the page layout section of Word. In doing this I am not
able to put the second page on the back of the 1st page
because of the split. How do I get Word to let me have
the same 1" margin on both pages per sheet? It will
always give the first page 1" on the left and the second
page 1" on the right. Help Me. Thanks

Don't use "two pages per sheet," which puts two pages on the *same* side of
a sheet of paper, shrinking them down. Instead use regular layout, and set
your printer for duplex printing. This varies by printer, so play with the
options and buttons in the print dialog.

Or if by "writing a book" you mean writing a half-size pamphlet that you
want to fold in the middle, see here:

If neither of those helps, clarify what you mean by:
put the second page on the back of the 1st page
because of the split
