Two questions about Master pages.

Could someone help me out here. I need to know how to:

1. Apply a masterpage to a presentation. (I am able to apply the
master to a slide, but not the master of the cover page)

2. How to ADD a placeholder to a master page.

There's no title master in my presentation

PPT doesn't currrently have the ability to customize placeholders. Sorry.

Hi, thanks for your response. I have two more questions you might be
able to help me with.

1. I need to know how to APPLY a master page (via the master title)
to a presentation that does not presently have a title page.

2. Can PP place in the footer "field" codes so that when a doc. is
printer the (server)path/date/time will be AUTOMATICALLY inserted?

The Title Master only gets applied to slides that use the slide title
layout.

The footer can automatically display field codes for date and time, but
PowerPoint doesn't provide a field code for the path. Go to View > Master

Slide Master. Then go to Format > Master Layout. Make sure that you have

Date checked. Then go to View > Header and Footer and check Footer under
"Include on slide". You'll have to manually add the path to the "footer
area" placeholder on the Slide Master.

Thanks! My nephew is the painter these days. I mostly do digital art
lately.
