Two Screens Part 2...

W

Wayne

We are running MS Excel 97 with MS XP OS on a computer
with a Matox drive where we have two screens.

Excel used to open on the left hand screen but now opens
onto the right hand screen.

I'm unable to resize the excel application by selecting
the border.

How can i get it to re-open on the left hand screen as a
default?

Note: The re-size button acts the same as the minimise
button.

I presume you're running it in full screen mode? Click
on the box at
the upper right of Excel which allows you to resize the
window. At that
point you should be able to drag the window to the other
monitor, and
then click to make it full screen again if that's what
you want.

That's what I do on my Excel97 with multiple monitors --
not Matrox though.

Good luck...

I also use Excel with dual screens.
I just drag it to which ever screen I want it to open on the next time and
exit the program. It will open on the screen that it exited on.

If it is maximized, you'll need to get it back to a normal window before you
can drag it to the other screen. You can just double-click the title bar to
toggle between maximized and normal window mode.
