type conversion error

I actually figured it out looking at the Access Assistance instructions.

Hi,
Why don't you tell us how you're doing the update and what value you're
trying to update the yes/no field with.
0 = no
-1 = yes

I got the message during an update that says "You are about to update 4
rows". But once I click yes I get a message saying I can't update because
of
a conversion type error. I am trying to update a yes/no box.
