Typing delays

I am having intermittent problems in both Outlook and
Word. When I type, there is a significant lag time before
the letters appear on the screen and if I type too fast
everything gets stuck and i have to slowly enter each
letter. Can anyone help?

Unlikely to be related to Outlook, esp. as it's happening in Word, too. Does
it happen in, say, Notepad?
I'd post in a group for your OS version.

I have seen this happen when the machine is heavily taxed. Saw it one time
happen due to some unwelcomed Spyware!

Do you have a kick butt machine?

I do, but I'm not the one with the issue :)
And as stated, this isn't an Outlook issue and would be best posted in a
more relevant newsgroup.
