typing Hebrew problem in Outlook 2007

Rafi Goldmeier

On one of the computers in my office I have the following problem:

When the user types in English, everything is fine. When he types in
Hebrew, before he can begin typing he must first type a blank space.
Without first hitting that space, nothing he types goes in the body of
the message. Only after the space.
I already tried changing the paragraph spacing, the font, removing the
signature, custom dictionary to hebrew then to english, unchecking
automatic language detection, confirming keyboard layout, resetting
the normal and normalemail templates, though none of it solved the
problem.

BTW, this problem only happens in Outlook. In Word it is fine and
types immediately without the extra space.

the computer is Windows XP with Office 2007 sp2

Does anybody have any ideas for me?

Thanks
Rafi

Same problem - different solution

I had a problem in Word 2007 where I couldn't type in Hebrew unless I preceded it with a space. I noticed that if I load Word in safe mode (Ctrl+open) then the problem disappears.
So - I figured it must be with the COM Add-ins. I had two - Acrobat and TextAloud. Unchecking both and restarting Word fixed my problems.
Then I re-enabled one at a time - and I noticed that for me the problem was with the TextAloud COM Add-in.

FYI.
