Typing is blacked out in Word 2003 on a terminal server

I have Office 2003 installed on a Windows 2000 Server
running Terminal Services. I have dozens of users who
access this server remotely and most have no problems
with the new Office 2003 installation.

A few have bizarre behavior when working in Word. With
the first keystroke they attempt, the entire document
screen turns black and the user cannot see what they're
typing. The text is there but attempts to highlight it
turn both the text and the background white - still can't
read anything. If the document is saved and opened on
another machine, everything looks fine.

This behavior occurs both on new docs and when opening
previously saved docs. It also occurs in Outlook if Word
is selected as the email editor. But again, only with a
few of the dozens of users who access this server.

Anyone else seen this? How do I fix?

G'day "JJ_7777" <[email protected]>,

Sounds like a Terminal Server problem to me, try that newsgroup if
there's one.
