Udate pending hours with Administrator user

Hi all,

We are working with Project Server 2003 + SP1 + last hotfixes installed
and Managed Periods tracking method set. Do you know if there is a way
to set the permissions of an administrator user to be able to update
(accept) all pending hours of all projects?. This topic is very
important for our organization when arriving to the end of a defined
period.

Thank you in advance and best regards

There is no setting in Project Server / PWA that I know of that would
allow this. In past implementations, it was made a "training and
performance issue" (TM Dale Howard :-o ) for resources to update and
for project managers to update the project schedules and republish by
certain critical dates (month end, quarter end and year end).

For PMs that were scheduled to be out, we would delegate another person
to act in his or her capacity (or lack thereof). For unscheduled
absences, the admin (that would be me) would change them to Project
Server Authentication, log in as them, accept the updates, update
Project and republish the schedule.

Hope this helps,
