I am considering buying the Office Ultimate 2007 edition on the Ultimate
Steal for students and was wondering about the licence.
I have a rather rubbish laptop that I intend to keep until the end of the
year and then replace with a Vista laptop (by year I mean academic, so
replace in July/August). Would I be able to buy Office Ultimate on the
Ultimate Steal, and then install the program again, but on the new laptop in
August? I intend to get the DVD backup as well if I get it.
I don't want to buy the product and end up with it stuck on my rubbish
laptop (which runs Windows XP) unable to transfer it. I don't understand all
the wording on the T&Cs and am unsure. If I could just ask Microsoft I would
but unfortunately unless you already own the product it seems to be
difficult!!
