G'Day Peter.....
......and your question is....
................How do I un-block attachments (I presume)?

Let's be charitable.....control of attachment blocking can be achieved
by installing the "Attachment & Security Options" addin that can be
downloaded
FREE at http://www.slovaktech.com/ - the web page also has a clear
description
of how to use it, so perhaps you might print a copy for reference.

Have a Happy Christmas and a Great New Year.

It does - see http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm for ways to
get the attachments off.

For more information on the security features, see
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup.htm

If you use OE, hit forward on a message or disable it in tools | options |
security.

Thanks, but I meant "... without hacking the registry or downloading programs
from websites that I don't if I can trust."

Slipstick, I've heard of and used in the past, Slovaktek I don't know.

I'll hack the registry.

Thanks for your replies.

Hi Pat - I've had this computer for 1 1/2 years and suddenly it won't let me
open most of my attachements in outlook. When I go to hotmail.com it still
does not let me open them, but it give me a yellow triangle ! notice that my
attchments and links have been blocked for safety. I am unable to open
ANY of them. Even if I try to right click, I don't get the option to
unblock, only the option to open, save, etc.

Can you help? Please! Thanks, Kristii
