Unabel to download

Using Vista Home Premium and IE 7.0.6. Running McAfee with McAfee Firewall.
For the past 3 weeks I have not been able to download anything from the web.
After selecting a save file and starting the download the clock starts and
appears to time out and the download should be there. The download is not
in my PC. The same thing happens when I try to Run instead of Save. Have
tried with all security turned off. Please I really need your help and
suggestions here.

before you answer: which Microsoft Office application (e.g., Word,
Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) are you using to surf the internet? Do you
think your question might be completely off-topic here?

Thank you, Garfield, However since IE7 came as part of Office 2007 and I
could not locate a group just for IE I thought this would be the proper
group. ... eddie460

1. IE7 does *not* come as part of Office 2007.
2. You posted this same question in one of the IE newsgroups five hours
before multiposting the same question here.
