Unable to access the Microsoft Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP Cube.

I can run "Analyze projects in Portfolio Analyzer" for a project on the
server without issue. However when I try to run the "Analyze projects in
Portfolio Analyzer" by way of PWA on a client machine I get this error
message "Unable to access the Microsoft Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP
Cube." , "The cube may not exist, or you may not have permissions to access
the cube."

The problem must be the later "permissions" because it does work on the
server and I turned on the Analysis Manager Process log and there were no
errors in the log or in the application event log.

I read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324836/en-us, you receive an "Unable
to access the Microsoft Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP Cube" error message
when you try to create or view a Portfolio Analyzer View but that did not
help.

Any ideas?

The error also comes if you try to access Portfolio views over WAN. As it is
not support by default.

If you have servers in seperate domain then you also get the same error
while rest of the PWA features work correctly.

"Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube.
The cube may not exist, or you may not have permissions to access the cube."

KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324836 doesn't cover that.

Is the Project Server in the IE Trusted Zone on the client ? Has the ActiveX
controls and Office Web Components been installed on the client ?
