Everytime someone posts about this problem the only
responses are follow-up questions and it never gets
resolved.
When I attempt to archive mail for an Outlook 2000 user
(CW) to an archive.pst folder, it "looks" like archiving
is happening, but no mail is actually moved. If I try to
drag and drop folders of messages into the archive or
ANY .pst, I get the following error message:
Can't move the items. Unable to delete this folder. Right-
click the folder, and then click Properties to check your
permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or your
administrator to change your permissions.
I *know* that PST=bad. In fact, I took the initiative here
to get people off pst - delivered mail. We only have 22
users and 16 GB is just not enough for all the mail they
want at their fingertips and too small of a company to
afford multiple Exchange servers.
