Good morning everyone,
I am not too familiar with Access and I was wondering if I could get some help.
I have a construction db that runs different reports based on different criteria (week ending, superintendents, crafts and so forth). When the reports are run, that information shows up in the header of the report.
What is happening is that when people need to print the report to a PDF file, it defaults with the report name "craft_report" and so they are having to change the name everytime to be more specific, ie, paint_01182004, where "paint" is the craft and that is followed by the week ending.
Is there a way (remember, I am new to all this
to have the report automatically pick up the craft based on whatever is in the report header? So that once the report is run, they can print to PDF and the filename will somehow automatically be in the "filename" of the "Save as" window?
Any information on this would greatly be appreciated.
