Unable to Attach Files

I'm using Outlook 2003. For the past few weeks I have had progressively more
trouble attaching files. Today, I wasn't able to attach anything. Does
anybody know why this would happen and/or how to correct it?

Since you mentioned "progressively," I suggest that you
download, install, update and scan with Ad-aware:

Thanks, Chuck. I should have noted that I have run AV software, Ad-Aware,
Spybot S&D, and a few others and haven't found anything. The only thing I
haven't tried is to reinstall Outlook. I will be grateful for any insight.

No, there are no error messages. The attachemnts simply don't stay attached and don't send. They are not on the restricted list., either. That's why I am so puzzled.

I think the last resort will be to back up and resintall. Thanks to
everyone for their suggestions.
