unable to copy a database

I am unable to copy my database to another computer on my
network. When I try to open it on another computer, I
either get the message that it can't find the file (I can
see it in Explorer, so I know it's there) or that I don't
have permission. I'm using Access 2000 and XP Pro. Can
anyone help?

try using repair and compact to the location on your
network
