Hi

I hope someone can help I am unable to copy and paste within excel if i
right click on the cell, it works if I press ctrl c and ctrl v but if i right
click the option to copy is greyed out. Also everytime I open up excel I need
to go into tools - options - edit and select Allow cell drag and drop
because it keeps unticking itself???? I have no idea why this is happening
can anyone shed any light?

Thanks

The drag and drop option doesn't turn itself off but macros can do it. I'd
guess you're running something automatically that it doing this. Typically
that something is in one of your XLSTART folders so I'd look there for any
workbooks or add-in. These load with Excel. You can reset your Cell menu
easily with a macro:

Commandbars("Cell").Enabled = True

but other commands could be screwed up also. You can reset all of them by
exiting Excel and then deleting or renaming your toolbar file. Its exact
name and location depends on the version of Excel and Windows you're running
but it ends in XLB. You can do a Window Find on it.
