Unable to create forms in Access 97 - error msg "no current record

anyone can help????????????? urgent

Have been trying to create form and reports using Access 97 after link the
excel worksheet to table.
Able to manipulate datas in table & query but unable to create forms and
reports prompt by error message "no current record" even after link to other
Excel file, same message appear.

appreciated
