Unable to customize Outlook Today

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm trying to customize
the Outlook Today page in Outlook 2000 and I am unable to
do it. I click on the "Customize Outlook Today..." at the
top right hand corner but it won't bring up a screen to
make the adjustments. I've just re-installed everything
and I mean everything, I had a system crash I hope
someone out there can give me a hand.
