Unable to delete "Scrap" from desktop

I have somehow managed to create a shell scrap (extension ".shs") on my desktop but for some reason, I am unable to delete it.

Attempting to do so results in the following message being displayed :

"Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk"

Is anyone able to assist please ?
