Administrative install of Office2003 PRO SP1
Deployment is done using the Custom Installation Wizard. The settings
specify not to migrate user settings, yet user settings remain in cases where
a different Office2003 version existed, is removed and then the new version
reinstalled.
In the CIW I have set:
page 7 - for all features "Do not migrate previous installation state"
page 9 - Migrate user settings is not selected
Last page - NOFEATURESTATEMIGRATION - I have tried it with "clear property"
and with "Do not match features during installation" (whatever help I could
find was unclear as to what to select
The current situation is bad, as users really put in a lot of junk. Sort of
running a Custom Maintenance Wizard afterwards (in hope that this will stick)
what can I do to make sure no user settings are migrated?
