unable to download updates

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Tried to install update 12.1.0, installer can not find office for mac, searchlight finds it right off. Tried to work around auto install, did not update software to allow installation of 12.1.1

I have same problem. Barry, please note the issue is not downloading the
update, it is that the update says there is no Office 2008 on the Mac when
there clearly is.

The steps outlined for "Fix when you have modified files:" generally will
result in a good install regardless of the problem.
