Unable to enter time in timesheet

Hi All,

The filed where I can enter time in timesheet is disabled, so I am unable to
enter the time spent for the tasks which are assigned to me.

Please help me by providing solution.

Your Project Server administrator needs to change the default method of
tracking progress in Project Server, and then your project manager will need
to republish your task assignments. Hope this helps.

Where can I change the default method of tracking progress in Project Server.
Should be changed to what?

Do the following:

1. Log into PWA
2. Click Admin
3. Click Customize Project Web Access
4. Select the "Hours of work done per day or per week" option
5. Select the "Force project managers to use..." option to lock this method
for every project
6. Select the "Resources should report their hours worked every day" option
7. Click the Save Changes button

You will now need to ask every project manager to open every project and
click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments and click OK. Hope this
helps.
