Unable to enter values that contain decimal

When ever i'm entering efforts and duration it is impossible for me to enter
decimals. For instance if I want to enter 7,5h or 7,8h MS Project will cut
the decimals and register 7h in both cases. However when I enter 1d it will
convert it to 7,5h.
does anybody knows why this is happening?

I have MS Project 2007 sp2 and we run Project Server 2007 sp1

Hi,

Depending on the locale you have to use comma or dot as the separator, which
is to be expected. In Project Professional you should get an error popup when
you enter an invalid decimal separator. The nasty part is once again the My
Tasks -control in PWA. If you use the wrong decimal separator there, you get
no warnings or error messages. It *seems* that the system accepts your
updates, but when you submit them... any values with incorrect decimal
separators simply vanish. I'm not entirely sure if this has been corrected in
SP2 or a later CU as we just found this issue in our environment.

Not sure how much this pertains to your problem, but it is something that
you should be aware of anyway.

Hi,

I also have this problem, but only on some computers that access the same
server.
I already installed all the updates (April, August and October) for SP2 and
does not work.
Help, because people are getting nervous about it.

Thanks!
