When I test the Outlook 2003 email system, it says it passed. When I mail
off an email it gives the mssg:
Task 'SBC Yahoo! Mail-karenqltr - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) :
'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The
server responded: ??'

Outlook just did a different error mssg: Task 'SBC Yahoo! Mail-karenqltr -
Sending' reported error (0x800CCC61) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server
has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The
server responded: 521 yahoo.com closing transmission channel. User is over
the limit for messages allowed to be sent in a single day.'

I have talked to SBC - we walked thru the pop/smtp settings & authorization
needed. they think it is corrupted files in Outlook...........

Make sure you are not scanning your outgoing mail with an antivirus scanner.
Disable mail scanning in that application. Some AV programs require you to
uninstall and reinstall without the mail scanning feature in order to truly
disable it.

The server is telling you something: "User is over the limit for messages
allowed to be sent in a single day." This is an issue for AT&T and has
nothing to do with Outlook. I was not aware that AT&T Yahoo had such a
limit, but you've obviously hit it and only AT&T can address it. They're
blowing smoke when they say it's an Outlook problem because it's a _server_
error.
